Memorial Weekend

I've got Savannah down for a nap, and figured now would be as good of time as any to update the blog with the latest.....
We were invited by our friends, the Paynes, to go to San Diego, and so we DID!! It was such a blast. I've got a cousin who lives there and he offered his home to us, ALL 7 of us, to stay for the weekend. We were able to go to the San Diego Zoo, walk around the San Diego Temple grounds, and then go to the beach. At nights we played Settlers of Catan, and visited with each other. Silvia and I had such a blast, being like giggly teenagers!!!

Savannah went to Nursery for the very first time and was fine, until Nicholas, had to leave for a diaper change. When Steve took him back, they asked if Savannah and Nicholas were bro and sis, because she cried hard when he left!!! I think she realized that she didn't know anybody in there, once he left.

I've got some pics, but because our computer space is full, I can't upload my photos to it, thus I have lots of pics on the camera. Too much, because our camera's SD card got full on Saturday!!! Thanks to Steve and Silvia, they've got photos for us. I got some off of the SD card, they are only of our 1st day, which was at the Zoo.
She LOVED the ducks and did not want to leave!!We waited in line to see the Panda Bear, it's what Silvia and I wanted to see most of all. Savannah liked it, but she liked the Cotton Candy more! And here we are at the end of the day, gotta have that pic in front of the Zoo Entrance!

Been a long time.....

So I decided to write a quick post today. So much has happened since March, but I won't be able to go into all of it. I'll try to dip into it a little bit here and there....

But for right now, a few things about Savannah:

She's learning to do somersaults! She bends over and lays her head on the floor, waiting for jason or me to "help" her! It's soo cute!!!

She's getting more picky about eating by herself. She won't eat if we try to feed her.

She's learning to throw little balls pretty good and LOVES to play with either Jason or me.

She twirls around in circles to music-it's sooo cute!

Jason's had an opportunity to apply for a different position at Univ. of Phoenix. It required him to have some knowledge of A+ (some computer language), so he spent all last weekend reading up on it. Unfortunately, they didn't hire him for the position. But he realized that he could get his A+ certification anyway and be better prepared for next time.

As for me, I'm trying to figure out a schedule of housecleaning, cooking, and laundry, so that I don't get behind on it. Also trying to work in some playtime, personal time, Primary time, and Jason time.

Anyway, that's a brief wrap up.

Here's some random pictures of Savannah (not so recent)
