Ava is talking!

Ava said, "I Love You" to me at naptime and to Jason at bedtime, for the first time today!!!!!  Though it sounded more like, "i owe you"....but she repeated it back to me, when I said, " I Love you" to her!

I just realized, today she is 22 months old!!  In 2 months she will be 2 yrs old, already!  Where has the time gone!

It's so cute when she says, "Yup" in answer to a question.  Some of her other words are, "wait", "sheep" (for asleep), "book", and recently she learned, "na-na-na-na" in the teasing tone.  Big sister Vannah taught her that one!! 
She is talking so much more now, it's amazing! Anyway, I can't remember all of them, but I wanted to post about her saying "I LOVE YOU" today!  It's so wonderful to hear those words from your kiddos!

 I was going through some photos, and had forgotten a little bit of what Ava was like as a baby.  Man, they grow up SO stinking fast!  I still can't believe that Savannah is already 5!!?? Where does the time go?
 I'm getting baby hungry too, I see babies in the store and I instantly react with the, "awwww, look at that little baby, so tiny and cute!"  So maybe later this year we'll have some news......

  This video was taking in November of 2011, when Ava was almost 5 months old. She started laughing when she was really young, at 4 months.  I love hearing my girls laugh!  It's the BEST sound EVER!!!

Here are some more pictures of Savannah's preschool during the 2011-2012 year.

 Aug 25th, using shaving cream to practice writing letters.  Can you guess what letter they were working on?

Here they got to "play" with M&M's before eating them!  I'm surprised she still had them when the picture got taken.  Those are her FAVORITE candies!

 

Sept 6th, you can tell she loves preschool

In October, they had their first field trip.  To theTolmachoff Farms. It was lots of fun for all the kiddos. They got to ride in a little train, see and feed animals, play, play and play!

 October 20th, I hosted preschool in my home, and by coincidence, we ALL wore flip flops that day!!!

 In November, when I hosted preschool, we learned about Pilgrims and Indians.

In February, when I hosted preschool, we learned about Spring, and our craft was making baby birds.

Prom 2012!
Was so fun! My sister and her husband let us tag along on their group date for Prom! Got to eat a Mexican restaurant, and then go to the Estrella Stake Center for the dance.  WOW, the decorations were AWESOME!!!

Now I can't seem to find any pictures of some of the awesome decorations....I'll have to update this post with the pictures, when I find them!

Jason's mom was staying with us, so she was home with the girls.  It was nice to get out and have some fun, dining and dancing!

Savannah's Preschool

THE FIRST DAY!!!

  Savannah was SSSOOOO excited to start school!  We joined up with a Co-op preschool with a lot of moms in our ward.  All together, there were 8 kids in the preschool.  Each of us moms took turns each week, 2 times a week.  It wouldn't cost as much as enrolling her into a preschool program, and she would see most of the kids at church too!  

  It was a great opportunity for her and for me.  I got to experience teaching them and seeing their progress throughout the year, it was great!
