What Flavor are You?

I saw this on a friend's blog and thought I'd go ahead and take the quiz too!

Mini Mother Theresa

We thought this picture was too cute not to post!!! Maybe this is what Mother Theresa looked like when she was a baby?? She's gotten to where she doesn't fuss during her bathtime anymore, yay! She actually played in the water with her left hand, I was surprised.

6 months today!

Savannah's completed her 6th month today!! I can hardly believe how much time has gone by. She is such a joy to have. We love watching her facial expressions as she's trying to figure something out, trying to reach for my red cup, or watch Jason play peek-a-boo with her!! Jason loves how she smiles a lot (she is a happy baby) and marvels at how she tries so hard to grab or reach for things that are a little far away. She's such a funny girl because when we stand her up, she'll actually walk backwards-not forward! Is this normal? We love her tons and tons and couldn't imagine our lives without her, she is amazing!

Video of her in the Jumper

Like I mentioned previously, she LOVES her jumper. Jason took a video of her in it and you can see her in action and she also plays with the little "toys" on the horsey. It's funny to see her expression change when she's concentrating on playing compared to when she's jumping!

Savannah rolls over (May 10th)

She's been rolling over on the bed for a while, but she hadn't done it on the floor yet, until May 10th! So I got her on video!! Isn't it funny how her expression changes when she rolls over?

My Little Jumping Bean

Savannah LOVES her jumper! (thanks to Cheryl, Roni, & Bethany!) I first put her in when she was 3 months old-she was holding her head up well by then. At that time, when I put her in, she didn't know what to do, so she just sat in it and looked at us with a blank expression!! After a while though she started to do some jumping, just a little bit, and she wasn't playing with the "toys" next to the horse's head. By the end of May though, she was my little jumping bean and in June she got intriqued with the "toys" and played with them, in between her jumping fits!

The Book: Twilight

Okay, I have to say, that I never heard of this book until my friend, Tiffany, mentioned it to me one time-in May I think. She was coming over to borrow a book from us and we visited on some books that she likes and she brought up Twilight. I'd never heard of it and so I didn't really give it much thought at that time. Well a few weeks later, our husbands got together at another friend's house for a Halo LAN party and the wife, Silvia, was talking to Tiffany about the book and asked me if I'd read it. I said no, and she got all excited to have me read it. She even lent it to me to read. I've barely started it, b/c I was already reading another book. Anyway, ever since then, I've come across many other women that have read this book and have absolutely LOVED it!!!! So now, I'm really excited to get into this book!

Happy Birthday To You

Today is my brother, Mark's, birthday.....so wanted to give a shout out to him. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! Also, Happy Belated Birthday to the following: my niece, Mackenzie had her 4th birthday on Monday. My sister, Mattie Jo and nephew, Matthew, had their birthdays on Saturday the 5th. Lots of birthdays this month in our family!!

Blogging

I am so excited to be joining the blogging world! I couldn't sleep last night because I was anxious to see a friends blog that was emailed to me late at night.....I actually got up out of bed to the computer. Mind you, my sleep is still a rarity around here, so that tells you how excited I am to be in this! Jason got a big kick out of how much I'm enjoying this. He was not expecting me to be so enamored by it!
I only wish that some of my family members could get into this, especially those that are outside of Arizona, like my niece Rika and her family in Texas, sister-in-law Jackie and her kids out in Colorado. We don't see them much and do wish to know of things going on with them. (we love you guys and miss you!)

TAGGED

The rules of the game:
1. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
2. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

Let it begin...

How long have you and your husband been together? We've been together for almost 6 years & 11 months. Out of that, we've been married for 3.
Who eats more? I think we eat about the same. I eat a little bit more than I use to--due to nursing Savannah, so I probably am close to being equal to Jason's eating amount.
Who said I love you first? He did, when I was getting into the car to go home--I was so not expecting it, that I didn't say anything!
Who pays the bills? I do
Who cooks dinner? Usually Jason does it. I hate being in the kitchen and will only be in it if I absolutely have to.
Who is more stubborn? Definitely Me! Jason's so laid back.
Who kissed who first? He kissed me first, though I don't think he remembers it!!
Who is more sensitive? That would be me. I am such a baby, I'll go soft on TV shows and even commercials!
Who wears the pants? I think we both do in different ways.
What was I doing 10 years ago? Hhmmmm...10 years ago I was living in Mesa with Amy Holly-then Price- and taking an art class at Chandler-Gilbert CC. I was working at AT&T, and getting ready to go to ASU full-time, majoring in Mathematics.
What snacks do I enjoy? I love M&M's!! Anything with Chocolate chips...CC muffins, CC ice cream, CC granola bars.
What would I do if I were suddenly a billionaire? I most definitely would not be stressing about finances any more. We'd get a house-finally.

3 bad habits.
1.I wear my PJ's all day-unless I go to store, then I get dressed.
2.I let laundry sit in basket after washing. Poor J, sometimes has to dig clothes out of it for work.
3.not brushing my teeth consistently.

5 things people don't know about me.
I actually watch a lot of TV (or watch DVD TV series).
I have slight case of road rage---when I use to sit up front with Jason driving, I use to reach over to honk the horn, if I felt we were wronged!!
I love pickles on my hamburgers
I use to not like ice cream much-but starting in my pregnancy and since, I like it so much more-to Jason's delight.
I hardly wear any jewelry-no earrings, no necklaces, lately not even my wedding ring b/c I'm afraid of scratching Savannah with it.

I now tag Amy Holly, Ayme Zortman, Ashley, Tiffany & Kiri... Your Turn!

Waiting for fireworks

We went outside to wait for the fireworks, on our patio, but they came a little later and we had to go out to the sidewalk in front of our place. Savannah watched them a little bit, but she was more intrigued by the neighbors that were sitting along the sidewalk next to us. She is such a people watcher, (but then again, that may be common for babies to do??)

Fourth of July!

Here we are at our Ward's Breakfast Celebration, bright and early at 7 am! Savannah & mom get up around that time, but after a feeding, we get to go back to sleep!! Unfortunately, later in the day, Jason got a really bad stomach ache and was down and out for the whole weekend! We had plans to go to some friends' homes over the weekend, but we had to take a rain check. Sorry Hilton's/Petrokavitz', Dove & Tooley families!! Jason barely got better in time to go to work on Monday.

Li'l Cutie Pie!

We had her pics taken professionally, at JCPenny. They turned out so cute! I was worried about them because she was overdue on feeding, but we were the last appointment for the evening and so Savannah's feeding had to wait until after the sitting. She actually did really well!

Helping Daddy Win!

For those of you that didn't know, while Jason and I were dating, we got into playing Xbox, and played the popular videogame, Halo. Jason's roommates were all into it as well and we enjoyed many, many nights of Halo playing. In fact, we still get together for LAN parties with a lot of them. Well, one night I happened to get a picture of Vannah "helping" Daddy play Halo! She was just over 4 mo. old. Needless to say she wasn't helping much! (she was getting hungry)

Chillin' with Mommy

Since Savannah's been born, we only have pics of her with one of us at a time! We plan to have a family picture done soon. Here's Savannah with me, I had to get Jason to take a picture of her with me, because we've got all these pics of her with HIM and hardly any of her with ME!! Isn't she just the cutest little girl EVER!!!! (of course!) We love to see her smile, and I Try to get her to giggle by tickling her tummy and arms, or by doing rasphberries on her tummy. It's the most wonderful sound ever! We just think she's the best thing that was ever made.

Here we are!

A lot of my friends have gotten into this, and since I've now joined the Domestic Engineer field, I thought I should get in on this as well!
Quick backup.....Savannah Linley Prince was born on Jan 12th 2008. She was 9 lb. & 2 oz. She was 20 in long.
She is now coming up on 6 months and I can't believe how fast time has flown by!!! We are enjoying her giggles and smiles.
